Ingredients
- 1 cup of plain white flour
- Half a cup of milk
- A pinch of sugar
- A pinch of salt
- A tea-spoon of baking powder
- Sunflower oil (or olive oil if you prefer)
Instructions
Mix all ingredients and form a dough. Put it in a tupperware container and seal for about 5 – 10min. Roll it flat on a floury surface into a round shape of about 15cm in diameter. Cross 2 vertical lines with a knife over the bread. Preheat a frying pan with a generous amount of oil and fry at medium heat until light golden on both sides. Serve with honey or jam or eat on its own – delicious with masala chai!
