9 Reasons why Glamping in Australia should be on your Bucket List -- Glamping in Australia --

9 Reasons why Glamping in Australia should be on your Bucket List

1) Because Australia does Nature Best!

Million of years ago this continent has separated itself from Antartica and Africa drifting closer to Asia. As a result, you’ll find flora and fauna that you won’t find anywhere else. The continent is also home to incredible wonders of this world: Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, the Blue Mountains and the Twelve Apostles just to name a few.

Glamping is all about unwinding, relaxing and reconnecting away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life! What better country to do it in than in nature wonderland like Australia?

2) Because it’s a Continent worth Exploring!

.

Australia’s nature is not only breath-taking, the continent’s landscape is also incredibly diverse: from tropical beaches with picture-perfect white sandy beaches to rugged terrains with the famous red sand. Australia is a continent after all – it is huge! Be it North, East, South or West – all parts are like different countries and offer new and wonderful photogenic panoramas to be captured and never to be forgotten.

So why not tour through Australia in style and ‘glamp it up’ a bit everywhere you go to see as much of the country as possible?

3) Because you do Camping but in Style!

Camping in Australia is popular for good reason. But camping itself comes with a great deal of hassle. Talking from experience, after a while you crave a comfortable bed, a proper shower with hot water and not having to get dressed before heading out to the toilet. You kind of start to wish you had a bit of a break from all the vagabonding. Ohhh and a nice bubble bath would be quite nice too!

This is why Glamping is so perfect! You get the best of both worlds. You can quench that thirst for adventure but do it comfortably!

4) Because of Australia’s stunning Wildlife!

What do you think if you hear ‘Australia’? I bet one of the first things that popped into your mind was either a Koala or a Kangaroo? But there is so much more than the typical Aussie mammals. According to the official Tourism Board of Australia, the continent is home to “…more than 378 mammal species, 828 bird species, 4000 fish species, 300 species of lizards, 140 snake species, two crocodile species and around 50 types of marine mammal”. And chances are, when you go glamping, that you see these wild and wonderful creatures right at your doorstep…

Because that is what glamping in Australia is all about: to be right there in the midst of all this beautiful country has to offer!

5) Because of the Best Beaches in the World!

Australia is home to the most spectacular beaches in the world. Imagine glamping somewhere right near one of these gorgeous postcard settings? And guess what? Australia’s coastline offers you over 10 000 beaches to choose from.

Do I really need to say more?

6) Because of that ‘Middle of Nowhere’ Feel

If you grew up somewhere densely populated, I’m sure you know the feeling of just wanting to get away from the crowd for a bit. Well, you won’t struggle to find private seclusion in Australia that is for sure. Supposedly only Namibia and Mongolia are less densely populated than Australia!

This means there is ample space for you to get this rare feeling of living in the ‘middle of nowhere’. No better way to recharge those batteries!

7) Because of the Best Sunsets in the World!

Whether you’re glamping with your loved one for some much-needed quality time or whether your an avid photographer who is looking for those once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunities, Australia is guaranteed to offer you spectacular sunsets (and sunrises for that matter)! Now imagine waking up in a comfortable bed, looking out of your window and seeing the whole spectacle while you are sipping on a cup of freshly brewed french-pressed coffee?

Can’t get better than that, can it?

8) Because of the Best Glamping Sites in the World!

Where do you want to glamp? In a tree house, a yurt, a safari tent, a camper van, a tipi or just a tent? Australia has it all – you can find all sorts of glamping accommodation down-under! In fact, I believe, the best glampsites in the world are in Australia! Now you just need to make your mind up and decide what you would enjoy the most. Or decide to go on a long-term adventure through Australia and try it all.

My personal favourite? The treehouse of course!

9) Because it’s the Ultimate Romantic Get-Away!

Glamping is sexy and it is way up there on the list amongst popular things to do on a honeymoon! But even if you’re not intending to get hitched anytime soon or you’ve been committed for a long time – glamping is always a good idea to ‘wow’ that special someone in your life. Disconnect from your phones, spend time playing board games, cook a nice meal together, cosy up by that fireplace and enjoy a good bottle of Australian Cabernet Sauvignon…

I bet glamping will invigorate your relationship and take it to a whole new level! How can it not?

Oh, you had me hooked at the first picture. How freaking gorgeous is that? Australia has been on my bucket list since I did a report on it in 5th grade. I’m pretty sure you’ve just inspired how I’m going to explore it! I’ve never glamped but I have a long list of yurts I want to stay in…why not add this to the list. 🙂
